That's like living in Miami and being required to speak French! More so it's like speaking Japanese in New Hampshire!

We speak English in the United states as a primary language not french or spanish or japanese!

A fire fighter chief over here in Melbourne got fired recently for swearing on the communication radio or whatever you call it.  He's fighting the fires that have killed over 200 people and destroyed towns and they fire him for swearing! WTF!!

But was fluency in spanish part of his job? Was he hired with the stipulation of being able to speak spanish?

A supervisor being demoted/fired because the worker's don't understand the country's language?  That's criminally insane politically correct pinko-commie liberal ass kissing bullshit in my opinion.

Besides, I had family and close family friends in the Fire Department... they're all trained to know how to respond to situations with minimal supervision.

I mean what the fuck's going on in our country?  You're gonna have a bunch of Mexican invaders standing around while your house burns to the ground because they don't understand that the supervisor is saying "TURN ON THE HOSE!"

the video is only 30 seconds long lol. but anyway i can sum it up, it technically was a part of his job, but he was probably hired before it was required of him. the crew chiefs have to be able to communicate with every fireman on his crew, these crew chiefs only spoke english and got stuck with a couple of firemen that ONLY spoke spanish. because a couple firemen couldn't speak english the crew chiefs that couldn't speak spanish were fired. :shrug:
