Not including the obvious (English)

I speak a little Ukrainian, as it is my background and my mom familiarized me with some words from a young age.

Slat-chka means diahrea. So if you ever go to Ukraine, just start yelling Slatchka and someone will surely buy you a drink. hahahah

I only speak very basic japanese and I took a whole year of it in high school. We had a satelite teacher and no supervision in the class so go figure. I just dicked around all year and now I regret it.. immaturity really fucks you over in the long run.

Ive tried to learn a bunch of languages with no success. I need to be immersed in a language, then Id have no problem. Im good at picking stuff up, but I need input other than classroom bullshit and audio tapes.

Is speak Dutch(my native language) and I learned French, German and English in High School. I do understand German pretty good, but speaking it is more difficult. I studied French for 4 years and forgot every French word in the last 3 years...

It was offered at my highschool for $500, and our teacher was broadcast to us over satelite every day. We had weekly phone calls where she would test our japanese, and we also had projects we had to do on computer to send in on disks.

It was ok, but not for a high school student. I was only in 10th grade at the time and still in the peak of immaturity. Probably still coming down from it, but no where near as bad as I was back then.

I can speak/write french (poorly)

I speak Spanish pretty well...

And where I went to school, they had the same deal with the Japanese by satellite(sp?)

I never took advantage of that tho...
