Best album to listen to while tripping?
    #9806388 -

I always use to lose my mind while heavily dosed and listening to Country Joe and the Fish's "Electric Music for the Mind and Body" with the headphones on, that album use to paint so many images in my mind, that album was just made for tripping and losing your head too, what a masterpeice!!

How bout you? what's that album that at 3am with headphones on and heavily dosed, you loved to listen to?

classic pink floyd is good ,such as meddle,animals, atom heart mother...

but lately I've been getting into those relaxation cd's ,you know the ones with sound effects like waves breaking,birds chirping, thunderstorms..that kinda shit

It's really good with headphones,doses,and darkness

Either Early Black Sabbath, Corvus Corax's
Congratio or Inter Deum et Diabolum Semper Musica Est (In between the God and Devil there is always music) or The White Abum.
I'd pick Corvus Corax though.

Here is a mellow Corvus Corax jam,
The song is from The Cantigas Santa Maria,
A Spanish Medieval Manuscript of Songs,
for various instruments (Monophony and
Polyphony) by King Alfonso X. I think it
is brilliant how they use the crashing of the waves as a metronome/beat.

The Wall is an amazing album, but I think I've just heard it way too many times to enjoy it anymore. My dad was a pink floyd fiend growing up.

Check out videoclips and songs from Michael Jackson's Thriller album

I honestly think a lot of trippers will appreciate Jackson if they get over the weirdness that he became.

I just wish I could see Prince videoclips.. I cant believe he took on youtube

I was just talking about that over a bowl with a buddy of mine this weekend. Prince is my gayest indulgence by far.

Best album? My absolute favorite is Pink Floyd - Obscured by Clouds. But really, any Floyd will do.
I highly recommend some Moody Blues, either A Question of Balance or On The Threshold of a Dream. Those are probably my favorite, but they have some more good albums.

Jimi Hendrix Axis:Bold as Love or Land of The New Rising Sun.

King Crimson's In the Court of King Crimson is absolutely epic, get it naow!

A few more bands that I'm not sure if people would like to trip to or not, but I love the sound of their guitars: Allman Brothers, early Aerosmith, Joe Satrian, Johnny Cash, Eric Clapton, and Neil Young.

Boards of Canada:
* The Campfire Headphase
* Acid Memories

Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon (do I really have to name this one?)

Nirvana - In Utero is an amazing album, and one of my personal favorites of theirs

Animal Collective - Merriweather Post Pavilion

It's as if they've managed to capture that initial wonder of the first time you play with an instrument and sustain it for an entire album. It sounds like an excellent mixture of fresh discovery and musicians who know what the fuck they're doing. It feels almost mandatory to listen to this album while tripping.

Yes!  I love that album.

I'd have to go with Frizzle Fry, it's not for everyone though.

I dig Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, Allmand brothers and stuff of that nature.

Some electronic music and relaxation/meditation tapes have always been nice too.

Some Jazz of funk probably Parliament.

I guess my #1 favorite tripping album would be Europe 72 by the Dead
