We had between 20-25 Panthers growing under our pine trees the past 3 weeks...they're finally dying off. They look just like an A.M. but they are bright yellow instead of red, and are not edible. Still beautiful to see though. :smile:

Gorgeous mushrooms, I would innoculate my backyard with them just for the mystical atmosphere they give. Ive never seen them. I dont know anything about the rules of eating them, Ive probably read it somewhere here, but just dont remember. :tongue:

Heh, no, its been a bad year for liberty caps, too many dry months.
The amanita's are in abundance, very easy to find too, just look fo a silver birch :wink:

I went for a walk for over 3 hours in the forest, and these were the only type of shroom I could find.

Hehe, I went to a field today I've been meaning to go to for a while, in August I found some Pans and some inactive Psilocybes there, so I knew it was good. As soon as I entered the field I could seem dem lib caps. They were all over the field (and it was a big field). Most were past their best (not enough rain recently) so I picked a bag full of the best and left. I'll go back on friday once it's rained and spend a couple of hours getting enough to last the whole year.
