and countless other robot-goes-beserk movies.  i enjoy the robot-doesnt-go-beserk plots best.

another cool movie is the first half of Altered States.  the protagonist does DMT and mushrooms!  :smile:  the perfect movie: AI and shrooms... hehe

Good call with Metropolis.  A.I. isn't the main theme but it figures in big.  I recently saw a restored print --original score and 3 hours (they were still missing a lot of footage supposedly!)  That film is AWESOME! :laugh:
