Incubation question again...
    #969157 - 10/17/02 01:04 PM (22 years, 3 months ago)

Im geting ready to incubate my jars...so i was wondering if it's ok to keep the jars in a box that contained the jars originally tightly closed and wraped in a towel... and put in rubermaid container... the place will be dry and warm but not much air will get inside... so is it alright?

They'll colonize faster if you construct an incubation chamber. Here's an effective, cheap one: http://www.myco-tek.com/TEKs/Incubation.htm

Hope this helps.

In the link I provided there is a heat source, the fish tank heater. I think that your post may have been directed to someone else. If so, please pay attention to that next time, for it cause confusion some times. Have a good day.
