Happened to me using Axe gels too.

I suggest using Non-Gels but use the one that has the white stuff not sure what its called

I've become SO sensitive to chemical smells, and I have to say that AXE, especially when it's freshly applied in the locker room at the gym, is the worst offender of all.

It literally burns to breath it. Kinda like the CS gas we got hit with in BCT.

There's nothing dangerous about the aluminum found in anti perspirants. A lot of people feared it could cause cancer, but a study by the American cancer society (at least I think that's their name...might be American cancer institute I'm not too sure)...but they proved that it doesn't cause cancer cell growth. I myself have a bit of a sweating problem because for a while I was using gel deodorants which just made me sweat bullets even when I wasn't even exercising....so I've been using degree for men with 18% aluminum zirconate or whatever its called and I don't sweat at all now...its great.

lol proved?, all science is based on, is tests, which can and are usually flawed due to the shear mass of variables scientifically and politically. i wouldn't have even said anything, if you hadn't said it wasn't dangerous at all :shrug: as it would have been opinion

for starters sweating is good for the body, lack there of due to these chemicals n such is bad, as seen by the rashes ect your body produces when coming in contact with them.  i myself believe the rashes are prob caused by the fact that toxins already present in the body can't escape due to the antiperspirant chemicals. the aluminum is just the iceing on the cake

and cancer is also only one thing, of many that should have been tested for.  and the reason most people don't bother is because long term effects take a long time to find out and in that course of time extra varibles come into the mix

the american cancer society is a business that has no interest in curing cancer.  it's completely shady and they are most likely in bed with pharmaceutical companies.

cancer is a money maker... it's all about extending the life of patients with cancer so they can maximize their profits.  all methods of treatment are sadistic and in most cases cause more harm than good.

if they were serious about curing cancer they'd give guys like rick simpson some credit and spend all of their research money on hemp oil with high concentrations of THC.

but, yeah... everything makaveli said and more.. your body has to filter out that gunk you rub underneath your arms.  that's why i there is some sort of warning on the anti-perspiration sticks of deodorant that says don't use if you have kidney issues..

plus aluminum is a neurotoxin..

try giving your body a break for a couple weeks.. don't wear any deodorant and then switch to a natural method like some people in this thread have suggested and i guarantee you will stop sweating so much.

That's true. Before I made the switch in my mid 20's, my pits were like waterfalls. Now, I can go days without BO juice and have no problems.

I seriously recommend that everyone try baking soda before anything else.  It is cheap, and works better than any deodorant I have ever used.

Just make a little dime sized pile in your palm, add a few drops of water, just until it gets slippery, and rub under opposite armpit.  Then repeat with the other arm.

You will be amazed.

Many of the "natural" methods contain the same aluminum products found in the "unnatural" commercial products.  I'm always amused when somebody talks about their natural salts working wonders without realizing that their natural salts contain that 'evil' aluminum.

male sweat contains pheromones, and girlies love it.

Body odor is caused by bacteria on the skin, that eats bullshit and shits on your shit.

(we don't usually secrete nasty odors, after all...its counter evolutionary)

Find a way to stay clean, and just sweat it out (hehe)

that may be true... just like how 7-up is advertised as being "all natural"

that's why you just have to use your eye balls and read the ingredients on the back of whatever it is that you purchase... if there's something you've never heard of in it, look it up on the net, if it's harmful, move on to something else.

the stuff i've been using is indeed truly natural, not 7-up natural.. so, yeah that's what i was recommending.

i didn't say aluminum itself is evil... but it is a neurotoxin and harmful to your body, so if you want to lather yourself up in that shit on a daily basis be my guest, but i'd rather not when i have other natural and non-harmful options that actually work better.

I use Burts Bees Baby Bee powder, which is almost all baking soda, but it smells so good. Just a touch though, even though I'm married, girl have always loved the way I smell au natural.

I wouldn't mind sweating more but my undershirts are all white, so they become yellow if I go au naturale. If it weren't for me not wanting to buy new shirts every month I'd definitely try it out.

yah eating anything in a box or a can is pretty much like going to the town dump and eating decaying food.  the only difference is the stuff in the box or can looks pretty since they soaked it in dye's and used chemicals and presses to give it fancy shapes that make it look good and firm

so like they say you are what you eat, just gotta realize everything is ninjas unless you made it yourself

I hardly ever use deoderant ... I have some Jason's Organic deoderant in the bathroom that i use every now and then. It works pretty good. :thumbup:
