Deodorant

I think we're dealing with some super fast adapting bacterias these days. I... My friend was telling me how he'll get a new deodorant that kicks all kinds of ass at first. After a while it just doesn't cut it anymore. Boy, my friend stinks bad.

Who has time to take a shower everyday. I can't enough!

As a kid who lived in a crimethinc indoctrinated anarkist household, i can sympathasize with the grounds of that article. I agree that super sanitation is bad in the long run. Societies notions are accepted and taken for granted by most, and even a many here so called hippies.

Now, i realize its not hip to smell, but natural is nice. In the article its a bit to sympathetic to the anarkist crusties.. I've met some smelly as mother fuckers who'll boast about not touching water for 5 months at a time...

Give it up guys, crust is for scenesters. Wash, be natural - but most of all, be conscious of all the products you put on your body and how they affect you and the people (and things) around you.

Personally, if i feel like putting on deoderant - ill wear Toms of Maine. Usually i dont.. but sometimes i get conscious of smelling, as i do sweat alot when working hard. (at my last job, landscaping my axe wearing, whore fucking, meatheaded foreman constantly echo'd to me to throw on some pit stick as he was givin' me a ride home. Honestly, after 10 hours of working in 40 degree heat, do you expect me to not be smelly?)

In some cases, body odor is a manifestation of ill health. In other cases it is a product of the person's diet. And then there's just the plain ole "you need to take a damn bath, man". Any number of things can cause body odor.
As for our friend who has issues with deodorants not working, I had a friend with the same problem. They actually were quite successful with organic deodorants vs. inorganic. Unfortunately, also, if you don't want to "stink", you basically have to shower everyday. That's just how things work. I, personally, am in college and don't have time to shower every single day. I also, however, appear to have no apparent "body odor". Who knows?
