feeling like rain on a sunny day

you know when you trip you get that afterglow sometimes....i really like that, anyway, after a good trip i feel refreshed, my soul, and spirit feel refreshed, i feel new, reborn. i usually feel this way for a few weeks afterwards, but then i lose it. and lately i havent tripped, but i still get these moments of utter peace, especially after meditation, or re-realization of my beliefs. but lately im just not feeling whole, i dont know why, i dont really have anything to be sad about, but i find myself in melicollin moods....im thinking it has to do my brain chemicals, or with weed....any thoughts, reccomendations, or anything would be nice, thanks.

From my experience....I don't think there is any one thing you can do to make it better. Sorry, I know that sucks. Just remember that everything changes eventually...sooner or later something will happen that will change your mind completely. Take the rough with the smooth.

I've noticed these periods of "afterglow" seem to grow longer and longer. I've only tripped around 40 times. But I started out tripping at least once a week. Now I only get the urge every 3 months (at minimum... largest gap was 5 months). For me, tripping is an exhaustive experience.

Don't try to change your mood. Just roll with it. You can take it easy --by that I mean rest a lot, take baths, just sit and stare at stuff. If you need a day or two off --take them by all means. Don't feel you have to snap out of it. Be kind to yourself. It will pass. I know what you mean. Like Revelation says, I don't think there is much you can do to snap out of it. You might also use the time to feel things on another level. Think about family and friends and people you know. I don't know --I hope that helps.

i know what you talk about my friend. There are period of times when i am basically numb to everything. Sooner or later it will pass. maybe your just burned out on weed, happens to me every so often.
