2012 Party at Mayan Pyramid?

I was thinking we should all get together and have a party on December 21st 2012 at one of the Mayan Pyramids.

We have a few years to plan and save up some money for the trip.

Does anyone know if you can have events on or near them?

Give your ideas, what type of party would you want?  Would you go?


EDIT:  Although the Jones town kool-aid and human sacrifice ideas were amusing and funny. 

I was thinking having something either like a RAVE with electronic music and stuff and/or kinda have like a new Woodstock type event. 

Does any body now of any promoters that would be interested in getting a huge party together?

Even though I don't think the world will end, it's a great excuse to have a huge blow out and have all the psychedelic people, hippies, new agers, and even joe six packs get down and party.

Shoot there could be multiple parties all over the world at Stone Hedge, Easter Island, The Egyptian pyramids, and all the places like that.

Would be tight. But i seriously doubt something like that would be permitted.

I bet some thing has to be planned for this. Their are wayyyy to many believers out their to not being trying to organize some thing of the sort already

This misconception about the end of the world and Mayan prophecy is a little too riddled with Christian fundamentalist end of the world mentality.

The Mayan predicted the end of AN ERA, the end of an age, and the coming of a new one, a metaphysical evolution of human collective consciousness.


But as far as a parrty at the temple, I say the only thing you need for a party like that is a minimum of 5-7 grams of mushrooms per person....

Well if their is nothing is planned, maybe we should plan something.

I don't really think anything happen like BAM but maybe it will be a start of some type of change.

They didn't predict anything. It is the end of a baktun, specifically the 13th.

It is just a cycle of 144,000 days.

Im fairly certain a large number of "hippies" and "new agers" are going to naturally migrate there and if the world doesnt end they will take the area over and start a society.

you can climb on the mayan pyramids in belize, i've done it.  i think you might have to pay for a guide, but i think you can just walk around on your own if you want to.  so if a bunch of people congregated at the bottom of one of them, that would probably be fine.

Ive climbed up onto one of the Pyramids near Mexico City and smoked a joint on the top tier. It was not a problem.
