Snow on the ground outside.These are some of my smaller cacti.My larger ones are in hibernation in the garage.

Ya that diffusa needs to get on its own roots lol.The problem is it has pups all over it even on the bottom.I love my astros

chop all the pups off and make multiple grafts out of it before the stock gives up and the scion suffers...

i'm pretty sure that pereskiopsis stock has come to the end of its useful life :yesnod:

how long has it been grafted on there? i would guess about 3 years judging by the size of mine.

I think a little over two years.I had one get that big in a year.Then it cracked and rotted i saved two of its pups.They bloom all the time.Poboy.Dr post some pics of your cacti.You were one of the guys i saw posting killer pics of your cacti.That got me grafting and buying allot more plants.

over wintering in my office windows, no pic's of my trichs though...
i'll get onto that in the spring, i haven't shown them off much, just the lophs :lol:

is your current cacti situation your overwinter spot for them?

The cacti i posted today are inside under two 400w mh lights.In my garage i have my bigger plants at 45 degs in a walk in cabinet. Dry and cold.

The cactus in the photos are in light all year the others at 45deg have zero light

No none as long as they are dry and cold they don't need any.I put a heater in with them so they don't get any colder than 45deg f
