How to download music now a days?

I'm about to blow up my computer...limewire fucking blows, I can't get  one song

anyone know a good program to download music with that won't completely fuck me over with ads or popups or something.

torrents for one song at a time? isn't that a bit time consuming, especially considering there would probably be no seeders for individual songs...

As long as the album or discography is not zipped up, then you can download whatever individual files you want.

Quit wasting your time with single songs and start getting into full albums. If a band is worthwhile their album will most likely be filled with better songs than the single/most popular.

start downloading albums... youll find more music you like. Once you stop downloading single songs, and start downloading albums, you find a lot of new music you like.

use an online video converter.

I get on youtube and get the URL of the song or speech i want. than it converts it to a mp3 than it sends it to your email.

You can selectively download individual songs out of a torrent with any of the major torrent programs.  Just get on one of the big music torrent sites and there should be plenty of seeds.
