Blue Tongue?

I had shrooms on the weekend and after I had eaten some my tongue turned blue!  :shocked: No one else that ate them had this happen.. Is this normal? Has anyone encountered this before?  :confused:

Yep...  Last time I checked anyway...  :wink:  I tripped normally too but was kind of curious why I turn blue..  Anyone have any ideas?

BTW its not with all types of shrooms just the particular variety I had access too.. Oddly, no one else was affected.

um...well, stems turn blue when you break then sometimes...maybe you just got a really high dose of psilo?
i dunno. did you eat any candy that was blue?
and then...maybe you were just trippin' and thought your tongue was blue. :grin:

Maybe... I was eating mostly caps at the time but there were a few stems in there.. It doesn't really affect the high but I am kind of curious...

cool! the shroomery has it's own smurf! but hen, when peoplea re trippen..someitmes you can all see the same things. you say..."my tongue is blue!" then they all see it because you put the idea into their heads.

and about eating alot of caps...man the stems have just as much psilo as the caps. there has been so much arguement on that issue.
anyway...later smurf! :grin: :grin:

This has happened to me before...
I like to chew on my shrooms and keep them in my mouth like chewin tobacco. I try to let as much of the psilocybin get absorbed through the mucous membrane of my mouth.
I noticed that when I do this the "mush" turns all blue inside my mouth! It is like the normal bluing reaction on bruised shrooms except all of the shroom is bruised so it all turns blue.

I assume this is what happened to you....If you did not keep the shrooms in your mouth a while then I can't explain it... Maybe you are turning into a smurf!!!!!

Never seen or heard such a thing . I once had a cat turn into a rainbow while tripping , but food coloring has that effect on a solid white cat !  :cool:

I usually do chew them a little more than others do I guess.  Thanks for the info I was really puzzled on this.  :smile:

Do all shrooms turn blue when bruised or is it only certain strains?

Rainbow Cat................It was very interesting , was kinda hard to explain to neighbors , at the time I lived in an apartment complex , many inquired about him .
To top it off his name was PEEHEE (P.H.........POT HIT) , that to was tough to explain . :wink:

i had it a couple of days ago when i ate about a quarter throughout the day.i think my tounge went blue because i chewed them until they were all sludgy and holded them in my mouth for a while before swallowing.it looks pretty cool.maybe im turning into a smurf? lol
