Tobacco

I smoked 3/4ths of a cigarette, about 30 minutes ago,  to check out the buzz and I can honestly say I have never felt so sick in my life.  I threw up 3 times and for sat with my head on the toilet for 10 min.  My heart is still racing and I'm sweating.  Is this the tobacco buzz that people enjoy so much?

addicted smokers don't get the buzz anymore, they just need the nic fix. that's why it's called an addiction. no one really enjoys it.

That would be a no and if you would have orally consumed it ,the buzz would have been even greater.

You won't have that again...Now when you smoke it will be nothing, but pleasure. Kind of like when people drink at first...They get real sick because they drink too much as a kid, and then after a few times they get kind of immune.

No. I don't smoke, but I am guessing it gives people a stimulating effect, which they like.

It might make you sick because nicotine acts as a natural pesticide in tobacco, just like caffeine in other plants/beans, and just like THC in cannabis, but thc also protects from ultra violet light I think.

That is a perfectly normal nicotine overdose. The buzz that you do get when you don't overdo it is no where near worth smoking cigarettes.

good, you learned your lesson.

personally i enjoy the flavor/aroma of tobacco more than the "buzz".

you're brain naturally produces nicotine in small amounts, and regulates stress/anxiety.

what you experienced would be classified as nicotine poisoning. people generally overcome this with repeated exposure.

Cigarettes are a complete waste of money and lung capacity.  I smoked for a time, but thankfully managed to quit.  I wish my first nicotine experience was as bad as yours so it would have turned me off to it earlier.  The health ramifications of cigarette smoking totally outweigh any "high" or "buzz" one can get from them.  Just my opinion, though.

tobacco rushes can be fun, you smoked it too fast is the problem (besides smoking in the first place) you gotta take time or you will get sick, ive smoked for three years and i dont normally get rushes anymore unless i smoke a poorly rolled cig or fucking drag it like a mad man, try smoking after you blaze it gives a cool affect with the nicotine rush mixed with the high, if your rush is powerful enough you will often feel like shit for 15 minutes or so afterwards. when i first started smoking i couldnt even walk straight when i got a rush and i fuckin loved it. generally i dont smoke for a rush tho, i just love the act of smoking and cant be smoking weed all the time because it takes control of your life being illegal and all

That sounds like the first time I tried skoal bandits like chew but in smaller baggies so you dont get the chew in your teeth.
I was 13 and i stole a can of it from the store, I didn't even know there was an age you had to buy tobacco at that time, I didnt have any money so I stole it. This was back in the day they left it out on the registers like candy or other items..(mid 1980's) well i took a few and put it in my mouth, I spit every once in a while but I must have swallowed some of the juices, I had a good buzz going on, but my stomach was bothering me..and I puked twice, I didnt know you weren't supposed to swallow the tobacco juices. I think I threw the rest of the can away after that.
But I have puked when I first started smoking cigarettes from too much nicotine, but i only puked once.
I got a strobe light flickering visuals along with the buzz.
I wish i would have quit then, now many years later I still am having a hard time quitting, I still have a few smokes a day at the most.. Its still the hardest habit for me to quit.

You're doing it wrong. Like others said, you OD'd. Probably inhaled way too much, too deep, too quickly. Tobacco is quite pleasant if used properly. Best enjoyed over extended stretches of time like with cigars or hookah.
