Same dutch forest, now with snow and mushrooms
    #9310658 -

Today I walked through the same forest again (previous thread: ) but this time it was covered in a nice small layer of snow. The layer of snow has been there for about 2-3 days now.

I still was capable of finding several types of mushrooms and it even seems that there were more of a certain kind than about a week ago.

At some point on the edge of forest and moor we went down the hill (the forest is on a hill) on a small path and we entered quite a magical world which I definetly wouldnt recognise as Holland, the "strange" trees definetly added to the atmosphere. Back into the forest, somewhat later a nice amount of mist suddenly came. What a beautiful day

Here are the pictures, hope you like them

Ok, its kinda an overkill of photos but I really like the results for today, especially because of the light (the sun was rather helpful today) and the snow. I really had a nice day so I might be overenthusiastic .

Great pictures and nice details! Don't worry about too many pictures, especially with that type of sharp details, most people in this forum will really enjoy them and the more pictures of individual mushrooms will help you get a correct id on them most of the time. And as DrDee said, "you captured the magic of the day perfectly"! I especially liked the mist rising shot. Very nicely done indeed! Keep up the good work.

I will confess something that should be quite obvious, CC.  I love mushrooms, i.e. fungi.  I really do.  I am talking about a strong feeling, i.e. emotion, for them.  I think they are beautiful.  I even dream of them.

Great shots! It's nice to see someone made use of the opportunity and snapped some shrooms&snow pics. Unfortunately, I didn't have the time to do it myself.

You look like a couple of very nice people to me
