transferring agar

when you transfer mycelium from agar to grain or more agar, do you transfer the agar it's on too? thanks guys!

yes, simply cut pieces of the colonized agar and dropped them in your grain jars or wherever you are trying to colonise

Yes you are correct ........ cut wedges , slide knife under section and lift up , make transfer , clean knife repeat process for next culture sample .
Just remember ............. you are selecting the best , fastest growing mycelium . Looking for rhizmorphic strands . :wink:
