are you sure the one circled is a semi? it looks like some pans i've been finding at school lately.

Im pretty sure its a liberty cap..The nipple on the top..Found in sage grass with others. :smile:

i've just never seen them with sutch a broad and blunt nipple. the pans i found earlier had the same kind of bands, like in foenisecii, but had the same umbo like the one in your pic. they where also thicker fleshed than semies

Its just odd looking I think..They seem to vary in how they look. They dont all look the same...Or so I think! Just started hunting for liberty caps! I have more to learn!

man nice find. I wish I could find some liberty caps. Man I want to get some prints but I don't know what kind I sould get. I'm thinking psilocybin cubensis anybody know if its illegal to order them off the net if I live in NC. I don't want to go to jail over some essential tools for guiding my spirit. well Peace josh

i had a friend back in the midwest go and check some of my spots last week.
but not for active stuff....for grifola frondosa....hen-of-the-woods. somebody musta got em if they're not there yet....but anyway,friends are good on hunts

im gonna try to come up to the valley on saterday.
gonna check out the regular spots and some new ones.
niggy, try the spot up the hill from the rotting hay spots.
go up and up into the forest and follow the woodland path. theres a feild sparsely covered with sage grass, you know what to do there. it was my best spot. theres a few more sage infested spots in those particular feilds too

Alright thanks, i'll check that area out...

But one problem...I don't know when to go. Today its 30c out...in a few days will be 1c at night...Been getting a lil rain during the nigts the last 2 days..But its been warm.

Do you just go anytime? Or after a rainfall and it gets cold?

Sage grass on horton property too..I took a lil look today. Didnt find anything.
