"from serious experts on the subject"
name names
john allen has already denounced your claims and youed be awfully hard-pressed to find a more serious expert on the subject.
also youre lying about all the mushrooms posted having black sporeprints. the first cannot have them.
there is no confusion here. the only one confused is you, youre so convinced that you know what youre talking about, but you sling buzzwords innapropriately like a layman. you make impossable claims and think yourself "blessed" and "special" and seem to think you have some secret, apparently "expert" friends who are the beggining and end of information on the subject of mushrooms.
sounds like a classic textbook case of schitzophrenia/delusions of grandeur to me.
and although its only yourself you might think youre hurting, your sickness endangers those who casually read these forums as a reference. people lacking ability should not advertize themselves as resident experts.
this message is not even inteded for you, it is entirely written for the benefit of anyone who might accidently take you seriously. even thogh it is addressed for you, i cannot see you really getting any benefit from truth.
you are really full of it. you cannot prove otherwise. and you never will. you lie, and whatever pictures you post of whatever mushrooms you've found in the washington forest in april are only going to make you look more foolish when they are also shown to not be the specie s you claim them to be.
im actually curious to know what you really found.
right now, you will maybe find some panaeolus subbaltaetus, or psilocybe stuntzii, not much else. certainly not what you claim.
i highly doubt you would even find those.
im going to continue deriding your claims untill you can provide something more meaningful than a fragmented, self-worshipping boast filled with misinformation and evidance of mental disorder.
thank you.

Thank you for the validation, but i think i or meant to say twenty (20). And it was very enjoyable, closed eye intense visuals and nice feelings. Mild i'd say but nice just the same. About twenty minutes after chewing, holding in mouth, and then swallowing. There is a pic recently posted asking what a particular shroom was that was ID'd PS. Exactly what I picked 20 of last week after the rains ended.

I wouldn't call the weather last week quite spring yet. It was still hovering in the 30's to low 40's at night, raining daily, with days maybe up to 45. The rains have now ended and things are dry.

My reply was to thatdaltonguy not you.
Semis do grow out on the Olympic Penninsula, although this would be a uncommon time to find them. I would enjoy seeing pictures of this rare occurence.

Here are two prints from two different sizes of one of the specimens picked, but not eaten recently. Looks black to me. The one in the middle is the full size specimen. The mushrooms used for the prints are in pic, but dried up now of course. No slime, rubbery feel. Found in field grasses along path.

That little mushroom in your picture is not a psychoactive mushroom and Liberty cap sporeprints are chocolate to putrple brown. Not black. [image]http://www.shroomery.org/forums/files/04-18/307858960-300268491-[/image] And the Mitchnast photo of Pn. sphinctrinus is also not not psychoaactive. I blew up your photo and that is not a liberty cap mushroom. Your sporeprints are not chocolate brown to purple brown. They are black. Suggestive of Coprinus or Panaeolus genera. mj mj m j

Emerald Mist said, regarding his id of the liberty caps.
Quote:
and was squatting down to pee and woops there they were! I recognized them instantly. Did a sport print, knew the cow dung they grew in.
For the last time, liberty caps do not grow in manure. mj
