They're sold at most of the big mart stores in the kitchen section. They're used for sealing chip bags closed. They work good for sealing bulk substrate bags and only cost about $10. If you get one, use the ac adapter for power, cuz you'll only get about 10 good seals using the damn batteries.

You're right moe. I have a real sealer from mushroompeople, and it cost some real bucks too. $130. But to get started into bags cheaply, the euro-sealer is an economical alternative.

I saw some Euro Sealers online for 9.99, plus S/H whatever that may be. AC adapter not included, will a generic adapter work?

Ryche- The real Euro Sealer comes with some sort of bag opener though.. Does this other one?

I was under the impression you could reuse the bags more if you opened them with the opener. I have no clue though really.
