the coir link is the find of the day. actually another member here found the good deal. check out the link. It says its on sale so you better hurry! lol
I cancelled my other coir order from a different website since shipping was too expensive.

I got 30 bricks coming from the site I listed above. actaully its 10  3-packs. with shipping it was about $1.60 a brick. :thumbup:

I was so happy by the good deal it sparked a thread idea.

how accurate are those hygrometers?
i bought a shitty digital one off ebay.... it's useless.

im not sure to be honest. i had the link saved and thought it was a fair price. Oh and it had like 18 reviews of people saying they liked it. dont ever go with digital ones they suck and are not accurate. i hope that helps. go read the reviews on it :thumbup:

Had a look at that hygrometer, i dont see anything to adjust it, theres no dial on the back. Hygrometers are only accurate within a small range, which is why you calibrate them.

thanks i may take that off the list. i had it book marked. Ill look for the adjustable type. thanks.

EDIT: you know what, Im going to order one and let you guys know how well it works.

yeah its cheap, it may have some hidden adjuster that you cant see in the picture.

any good links on them? im looking around right now but they range from $15-$250
i would say 25 bucks is a fair amount to spend. just something that works well and can be reccomended to noobs when asking about their humidity levels. especially when we tell em to stay away from dgitals. so many choices out there it would be good for us to find one relatively cheap that works and can be recommended to others. this is an important instrument in this hobby by far.

I dont always grow all winter to be honest. some people grow year round. Some people grow every once in awhile. Im once inawhile person. as for finding horse shit in the winter, aslong as ur not stupid enough to look for it right after snowfall. im sure you will get plenty of frozen shit, well in the colder states. Its warm here all year.
