david lynch makes astounding movies.  a delight & confusion to the senses.  after i watched inland empire i was just thinking "what the fuck?!?!??"
and i love, love LOVE twin peaks.
ah, david lynch is amazing.

This is the most interesting analysis of it that I've seen put to type. Still, it's far better to not read it until you've seen it a few times and formed an analysis of your own. I liked Mulholland drive a great deal but Rabbits and Twin Peaks and my favorite works of lynch by far.
