The Ultimate LSA/LSH Extraction....easy as well

Long time lurker, first time poster.

Anyway here you go:

1.  Grind your seeds into powder
2.  Mix with sherry wine (this is key...sherry wine is perfect pH, acetaldehyde content, and ethanol)
3.  Let sit for your desired length of time
4.  Strain with coffee filter


All the above steps should be done in the dark, as many of these compounds are sensitive to light.

Sounds good...but could you provide more details???

How many grams of seeds, how many ml of sherry, what is the optimum temperature (if known) and what would be a threshhold, average, and high dose of the sherry in ml's???

Enquiring minds want to know.

Seriously.

So no need for peppermint oil?  How long will this soultion be stable for seeing as LSH breaksdown so easy?  Can you evap some of the sherry (tastes like shit)?  Do you have to use much or just enouhg to cover the seeds?  By desired time do you mean a couple of hours or days.  Very interested.

In regards to some questions posted above....the dosage should be based on the number of seeds used in the sherry, not the sherry itself.  I am going to leave details of the procedure up to the end user. If you wanted, you could probably leave the seeds in, if you roll like that.

Regarding temperature, I admit, I do not know.

NO need for peppermint oil, because the sherry wine has shit load of acetaldehyde, from my research.  There may be other wines that also fit the bill.  Any wine that has high acetaldehyde content, would work.

I assume everyone here is over 21 and can buy alcohol

is it easy on your stomache, or do you would a np wash be benifical?  I would rather know that have to get sick to find out, ESPECIALLY if you know and can prevent it:)

I would wash the seeds beforehand of course, in a manner of your choosing. 

Soap and water may be fine

Use some common sense through this simple, yet arguably, ultimate tek, and you will be fine.

i meant... wash them in some naptha or white gas.  if somebody tried this would it still give them a tummy ache like a normal alcohol or cwe?  have any friends of friends tested this?

that's not a tek... it seems like it may have potential, but we need more details.

did it make you feel naseous/sick when you (or swyn) took it? how many seeds did you use? how strong was it? et cetera

Thank you.  I got 50 high grade seeds otw and was really hoping this guy would be helpful.  Maybe he hasn't found the "threads" button below his name.  I'd say somebody PM him, but I don't know if he's find it.

So seeing as this tek is vague as hell, I figured offering a detailed test with recorded results was in line since precision obviously isn't everyone's strong suite in writing.  What my friend is doing right now is:

  Took 7 HBWR seeds of highest quality ordered from everyone's favorite on-line shaman and washed them lightly in cool water.  They were then rubbed vigorously in a paper towel and then scraped lightly with a kitchen knife until they were polished and smooth.  At this point turned off all the lights and switched on a black-light due to LSA/LSH light sensitivity.  In an automatic coffee grinder turned the seeds to nearly dust.  Took a small glass that had been wrapped in duct tape (again for light) and poured in (3 tsp. or 15ml) of Sherry cooking wine, then added the powdered seeds.  Not sure circulating air would be good either so covered with aluminum foil and swirled to mix well.  The sherry was at room temperature and the seeds very fresh.  This mixture is going to be allowed to sit over night(10 or so hours) in the top of a dark 80'degree closet.  I will probably swirl it a few times throughout the night.  In the morning the seed pulp will be filtered and discarded and the sherry/lsa?lsh will be consumed for breakfast.  Outdoors will be observed.  A follow-up post will let you know how his experience went.

If you are REALLY worried about air, use a smaller jar, fill sherry to the point of having excluded all air (put a marble or steel ball inside for agitation) and shake.

I was thinking of just mixing straight seed powder with peppermint oil once, but wasn't sure if it would do anything without the LSA being extracted.

Any certain brands to keep an eye out for or is it just straight peppermint oil from any store.

Down the hatch.  Ran into these problems and made these adjustments:

After letting the mix sit for 11 hrs the sherry had turned from a darkish brown to an orange golden color.  When transfering the sherry from one glass through a filter into another was worried about the dampness left on the seed mush.    So kept the pulp in the filter suspended above the small glass and poured 2 tsps of everclear over it and drained it further and squeezed it out.  Still unsatisfied that a clean wash had happened, I twisted up the coffee filter for some good wrings, then set it inside another filter over the glass and poured OJ over it to fill a small part of the glass.  The mixture was held and swished in the mouth for a minute or two then swallowed with ease.  He's lacing his boots for a hike and will keep you informed.
