What good would it do to call 50% republicans and 50% democrats? The polls would prolly be tied all the time.

which of these polls show the independent support? seems
they're calling from the list at the ACORN offices, I dont
seem to recall them asking for my phone number on my voter
registration card, how do they get the number again?

Maybe there are just more democrats than republicans.  What makes you think there are equal numbers of each.

After 8 years of Bush, I'm not surprised that their numbers are dwindling.

that's a hell of a margin, more than 2:1 which suggests that
most of the democrats fear obama and are voting McCain, glad to
see ACORN doing the lords work now

seriously?

No what I'm saying is at this time there are more Obama supporters than McCain supporters. So if you have say 60% of people supporting Obam and 40% of people supporting McCain, chances are your going to get a higher number of dems to republicans when you call.

No, it's because there are far more registered Democrats than Republicans. This is a fact. Partially, it's because most moderate Republicans have traditionally labeled themselves "independent" and partially because the Republican party is about as popular now as the clap.

I find it amazing that of all those polls not a single
'undecided', 100% of the voters know exactly whom they'll vote
for... or are they tacking the undecided voters onto obamas
ass because they know the voters will come around

Just because they don't explicitly list the undecideds doesn't mean they're not there. There's this wonderful thing called arithmetic; see if you can figure it out.

The last I seen on CNN, it showed about 9% of the voters were undecided.

Maybe some polls kick out undecideds?

a lot simply dont list them, some classify those supporting
independent supporters as undecided... the fact that we even
have these retards doing polls is beyond me, elections should
be like christmas, you get a big box in wrapping paper and
you're really hoping it's a new TV, instead it's a box of

This is so stupid the mind boggles. First, ACORN workers are paid by the hour, not the registration card. Secondly, there's a difference between voter registration fraud and voter fraud- and there has yet to be any evidence of the latter.

Elections board testimony: ACORN pestered me into registering multiple times

Two Cleveland men who each signed multiple registration cards as part of a national voter registration drive told the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections today they did so to help ACORN canvassers keep their jobs.

One of the men said he was sometimes offered a cigarette or a dollar bill by workers with the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now.

"They would come up with a sob story when they needed a signature," said Freddie Johnson.

The other man, who came to the board wearing a Domino's pizza delivery shirt, said he would tell ACORN workers who approached him while he was reading on Public Square that he already was registered. But the workers would persist.

"They'd just keep saying I could help them hold onto a job," said Christopher Barkley.

ACORN canvassers had quotas and often had to scramble to meet them.

nothing is ever Obama fault.

nothing is ever Acorns fault....

they always claim to be just sacrificing to help the poor man....

Actually, they suspended those quotas in August due to criticism. And so far all you've shown is that some individual members got people to file duplicate registrations(which, again, couldn't lead to fraudulent voting- multiple registrations are simply ignored). Sure, they should be fired and possibly subject to prosecution, but you can't use that to smear the entire organization. In fact, ACORN is so mainstream that John McCain saw fit to be the headliner for one of their events. But of course, in the hands of the Republican character assassins, nobody's safe.

so you're suggesting that a thousand people decided to commit
voter fraud independently for a meager $40 a day, subjected
themselves to criminal prosecution for a few peanuts? and not
a single one got these instructions from higher up, no
trainers, no supervisors, no one told them to do this?

I thought they got paid on a per registration kind of deal, like a quota. If it were a set amount a day you got paid, no matter how many people you got registered, well I dont think you would see this happen as much.

they had quotas of 20 registrations per day and a pay of $8/hr
for canvasing, it's all about making the numbers, just like cops
dont have quotas but they have to write a certain number of
tickets in order to show they're actually working
