New Administrator

So you guys may notice a new admin around these parts. PlayDoh is a security researcher and consultant who has volunteered his services to help us lock down the site. I'm somewhat embarrassed to admit that he already reported several serious vulnerabilities, but fortunately he's one of the good guys, and as an admin he'll be working to find and fix any holes which could be exploited by a malicious attacker. Most of his work will probably be behind-the-scenes type stuff, but he's a full-fledged admin so treat him with the same respect as any of us. What he's doing is very important and will help ensure the safety of the site and the security of all our members. Welcome aboard!!

Security is always the FIRST concern of any operation, whether it is operation of a 7-11 or a website.

I take it said individual in charge of security has been properly "vetted".

I would not appreciate it if this was not the case.

I am paranoid by nature.

I would relax, just a tad, if a mod does say that there is a "top secret" vetting process.

No details please, just a yes or no would be fine.

Snitches get stitches and government informants need to meet with "tragic accidents"... :fork:
