one of the cops that did this even told me they are spread too thinly to actually investigate any real crime, only take people to jail when caught during the deed.  but they sure do have time to sit around bullshitting with each other parked opposite directions so their drivers windows are close, and pull people over all day long writing tickets to take more of our money.

evidently you can't read, i was not speeding, it was the man behind me.  I will be getting the ticket dismissed.

I'd rather have a cop with a shroomerite mentality though.  Not so much the heady part of it but the reasoning and morality part of it.

My brother in law told me that he is going to try to get on the police force in the near future. I told him to let me know when he makes it, so i can let him know he is never allowed in my house again.

Cops are never on your side. I thought i had a friend that was a cop, until i tried to talk to him when his cop buddies were with him. Talk about a different person! He treated me like a peice of shit, and tried to apologize later about it. He said that thats how cops are, it's them against the whole population. Fuck the police. If my brother became a cop, i would never talk to him again on those grounds alone. I have been fucked with to many times by the police. When i was a teenager, me and a couple of buddies were walking in a group down the street, 2 cop car pulled up next to us and they started hitting us with their battons. When they were done they left. We were doing nothing, and they did it because we had long hair. They were screaming "hippy peice of shit!" amongst other things. Another time some jock that was twice my size beat the shit out of me in high school, and the cop took me into the office and told me to make a run for it so he could stomp the shit out of me again, because i was scum to him because i had long hair. FUCK THE POLICE.

I would call the state police they seem to be a little more upstanding in these situations depending on were you are.

Also as to having friends on the force.
If it wasn't for having good friends that I went to school with on the force I would be in jail and for a long time. I have one in particular that saved my ass multiple times. The cops in my hometown hated me and would fuck me over big time any chance they got. When he joined the force he would back me up and if nothing else be a character witness that the other cops would actually believe. I'm not saying he got me out of things that I did. He just made sure that I was not charged with shit that I had been accused of but had not done. Nowadays that makes a huge difference with cops charging people with anything remotely possible just so people will plea to a lesser charge. Especially people without cash to pay a lawyer to go the distance.
