ID Request: Psilocybe Pelliculosa ?????

Habitat:
Found growing in the forest in gras with allot of wood and sicks combined.

Gills:
Light when picked, now very DARK brown/ blackish purple.

Stem:
As long as a regular cigerette, thin, white with brown areas, shiny.

Cap:
looks kinda like a witch hat, light brown and darkens lower on cap, striped vertically..

Spore print color:
Coming soon.

Bruising:
purplish black or very dark brown.

From my searhces on the net, I mached some images up because I'm a noob, but it looks like  Psilocybe Pelliculosa....

I'm like, just guessing... haha

None of your pictures can be enlarged.  They link to imageshack.us.  I'd say you have a coprinoid mushroom--not active.

I fixed up the Images, Are you sure its a Coprinoid? I looked on google for images and it dosent look similar to me??

Yes, it is Coprinoid.  There are many different kinds.  The identifying feature is the inking of the caps called deliquescing.  They melt.  No other mushroom does that.

It might be toxic, might not be.

It isn't C. atramentaria though.  I'm not sure what it is exactly because I didn't take the time to key it out.  For your purposes it probably doesn't need a species name though.

Maybe someone will give it a name.

Cool, btw... I dont see any of the "Ink Cap" effect.......It's spore print is becoming brown.....

It's a coprinellus sp. (dont know which exact species). Chances that the spore print will actually come out brown are zero, but I can only encourage taking spore prints, so definitely go ahead :thumbup:
