If Obama doesn't win.....its going to turn into a second sixties revolution.  Especially since I'll be in there helping run things with a serious passion.

Obama is a smooth talker, hes got the whole nation believing he something that he isnt. To bad he allready flipflopped and moved politcally to the middle. The only thing he will be good for is dramatically increasing our national debt.

If there's one thing that pisses me off about some people here, it's the ridiculous belief that all candidates are the same, that it doesn't matter, that it's all just part of one conspiracy.  Believe it or not, you do actually have an obligation to educate yourself about politics, because they are not the same at all.  They have different policies , and will lead the country differently. 

I get the idea some people just don't know what they're talking about, and find it easier to just dismiss all the candidates as "all the same."  It makes you sound above it all, but it has no basis in reality.

At the very least, Obama will put liberal judges on the supreme court, while McCain would fill it with more conservatives.  I don't want to have to see Roe v. Wade overturned any time soon.  Not that that would necessarily happen or anything.  I'm just being dramatic, but still.

The higher taxes on things are good in the long run. He wants these for a good reason. I don't know like less air pollution as an example.

It's far too easy to become jaded by bad politicians. So many great minds are beginning to simply give up; rolling over and refusing to consider any political viewpoints other than that bullshit "lesser of two evils" saying.

I reject the government as a legitimate authority over myself, and see all those in positions within the government to be the same.  All want to take my money and my freedom through acts of violence.  I could weigh the two candidates and figure out which is less authoritarian, and vote for that one, but it's pretty obvious to me that working towards freedom from within the system will never work.  Government grows and grows, and nothing will change that fact.  I reject government, i reject politics, i reject force as a legitimate means of obtaining authority over others. 

The thing that pisses me off, is people that support a system of violence and corruption, and think that they are entitled to my money because they cast a vote for some fucking asshole in washington dc.

You can try to reject it all you want, but no amount of rejection is gonna change anything.

Try as you might, you cannot simply "reject" the system. It will always control you to some extent.

At its core, government is a trade off of liberty for security.  Obviously, if you agree to be governed you are giving up some of your liberties.  But it's easy for you to reject government.  I bet you still enjoy the water, electricity, and overall security that living in America gives you.  That money you're talking about is only yours because there's a system that you can earn it in.  If you really want to reject government, join a commune.  Otherwise, you owe it to all the other people who make our society possible to cast your vote for the person who you think will make it work properly.

Your right, i can reject rapists.. but they will always be around.

The point is, supporting the system makes you a party to a violent organization which is responsible for more death and destruction than that which it supposedly prevents. 

I won't have it on my conscience, and they damn sure don't get a cent of my money that i can avoid paying them.
