police accountability in this country is a joke, and most Internal Affairs departments are run by the sheriffs offices themselves, a complete conflict of interest.

we desperately need citizens review boards in every department.

system, similar to jury duty so no one gets too comfortable in

exactly, and I think having actual law enforcement help with it too would be beneficial,

only those with a lot of experience and no complaints or disciplinary action would be allowed.

Police Officers are only human, I bet a lot of them think that perhaps their jobs would be easier if say, Marijuana was legal. It is well documented that places, for example Colorado where I live, that recognize it as a petty offense under an ounce, frees up time for real crimes.

Growing Tobacco is perfectly legal, for own use or to give away. If you sell it, thats a tax violation, maybe the same system for pot would be good, take away the black market, you take away the vast majority of problems associated with it.

Anslinger used it as a racial topic. He said something along the lines about it should be illegal because of these "monkeys", and what it has done to them...He made it sound out to be like if you did it you would end up a "black man".

Did the Police Force or Federal Government (whoever was in charge of this specific raid) pay for all damages to the victims house?

true, but abuse of power is anything that exceeds the limits of the police power.  raiding someones house in the middle of the night and shooting it up for no reason doesn't fit inside the authority of the police.. thus it is an abuse of power.  A stupid one at that.

police serve warrant regarding guns

police return fire, seems lots of guns are present

seems like it would be pretty easy to get the right house, if they looked at his address, it would read Khang, the other guy they where looking for would have his name associated with the address.

how hard is this? before you bust in with guns and armor, just double check the fucking address.
