Everyone says to harvest before the veil is torn?

I was wondering if hte potecy is that much higher at the time during the veil is tearing that it would be stronger than if you waited and the shroom had twice the weight if you waited another day or 2. Some of my shroomies are so small when their veil tears I feel bad chopping them down so early and the next day they are about twice as big. How much difference is there in the potency??

Any suggestions?

It is not proved that the mushroom stops producing psilocybin after the veil breaks. Unless I'm mistaken, I think nobody knows the role of psilocybin in the mushroom development.

The test is easy to do. Eat 3 big shroom (2-3 days after veil breaking) and 3 little ones (veils just breaking). The strongest dose will tell us all. Who wants to try?!
