Is owning and driving a car as fucked up as having a slave?

Cars are destroying the planet so when you think about it, it really is selfish as shit to use one. Sure slaves are people and cars are machines but suffering is suffering and humanity suffers due to your car. I have one, but then again, I would probably have a slave if I could...

People are are the ones to blame, not cars.

Labeling an inanimate object as having responsibility, or a personality or even feelings, is childish, and irresponsible.

Ive seen just as bad.

Most all news reports saying a 'drug' is to blame not the person who raped/molested/murderd/jumped off a brige/etc.

I can tell this is going to be a case of where people refuse to look critically at themselves and their society. Driving a car is easily as bad if not way worse because CO2 is destroying the planet and is making the world uninhabitable for future generations...
