A drive...

I think I'll go for a drive around town...
Take in some sights to accompany thought's sound.

Just driving is a great thing to be...
Nonchalantly risking life for a little pretty scenery.

All in all, it's worth the peace of mind...
Cityscapes in motion keep my thoughts in time.

I used to drive the backroads all the time. It was my thing... just drive and listen to the stereo. I had a path, and everytime I drove on my path I would explore the roads that lead from it...

haha... one time a friend was with me and were smoking a j and doing some exploring. we saw a 'road' that went down and through some trees and decided to see where it went. right after we turned onto the road a corvette met us head on and waved us over. the guy got out and walked up to my window (while i was mindlessly still holding my joint) and he let us know that it was a private driveway... his private driveway. :wink: he was really cool about it though, he just wanted to see why we were headed towards his house :grin:

Growing up in the country I used to cruise a lot of backroads as well...I even did a long little diveway trespassin' to get high too  :grin:
I think it's somewhat of a right of passage for young rural pot heads  :wink:
Never got caught though, sounds like you got lucky!

Taking bong hits in the car?! HAHAHA! I've only done that maybe 2 times... Pretty risky if you ask me.. I guess if your on country roads it doesnt matter but when we were doing it we were lugging around a 4 footer on city streets, fully loaded with water... That shit was funny as shit..good times  :smirk:

I just love driving around unknown roads while listening to the stereo. It's how I found some new smoking spots to drive to that are even more secluded than the ones I already know. Plus it's quite a thrill to drive somewhere you haven't driven before, especially when you have NO idea where you are, it's dark, creepy and there's no one else around. It's also a good time to do some thinking.

That's why you get friends to pitch in for some gas money.
I love driving, but I wish I could be driven around instead. That way I could sit back, relax and watch the world go by without having to focus on the road.
