Not many people carry a gun with them...Much less a silenced gun. Thats a great way to get your ass in trouble. If some people are threatening your life, and you honestly feel threatened you have a right to defend yourself. Thats like saying hey pull out your AK-47, and blast those mother fuckers.

I think it is as applicable as any martial training can be when it comes to a street fight. I guess I couldn't really say for sure because I don't get in street fights, but I think it's good training for it. At least I like to think so. Read shroomism's post in the thread titles "martial arts anyone?". This is a testimony of what is possible with aikido. And you can break everybody's neck like Steven Seagal(just kidding).

If you are 21, and depending on what state you live in, get a concealed handgun license. Then you can legally empty a clip in someone's face if they are attacking you.

In Texas, if someone has a concealed handgun license, they are obligated to protect other peeps in situations like that. Texas is the shit. Did you guys hear about the dude that got shot breaking into someone's house? The guy caught him, shot and killed him. Then, a week later some other idiot tried breaking in the same house. Yup, shot and killed his ass too. To bad the 2nd fucktard didn't watch the news. He would have knows not to break into that house. LOL

learn defensive martial arts, something like Aikido, where you basically use their attacks against themselves ... when you are confident with your body, few people will fuck with you ... the types who will assault you like that probably don't have any skills, and that's why there were 3 of them ... they all are just losers, and with any formal training, you could fuck them all up ... making THEM look like twats.

Always remember if forced to fight against numbers, play dirty. Ganging up is dirty fighting, and must be countered with same.

Throat jabs, eye gouges, testicle smashing... All fair game when numbers are stacked.

Flee as soon as possible, but drop targets quickly using cruel and incredibly mean tactics.

No shame in running from stacked numbers...

just realize that if you take it to the next level, they probably will too. Better to get shoved around and escape reletively unharmed(except the ego), than to excalate and kick someone in the nuts or gouge someone's eye, and suffer the retaliation by ending up in the hospital or worse...

Like he said, no shame in running from numbers.

I meant when you are cornered or otherwise stuck taking the beating... Notice the 'flee as soon as possible'.

People who gang up are likely to 'take it to the next level' anyway once they get you down, so I'm just saying don't hesitate to get the upper hand by shocking the group with real damage.

Obviously, just moving along is the wiser course... but you must always be prepared to do ANYTHING to survive.

Martial arts is the best option. You could buy an MP (military police) stick from an army store and keep it in your car. Hard plastic brass knuckles from a flea market are very effective.
