Intimidating Police Officers / Knowing You Rights in oz - interesting read!

Hey just wondering if anyone from Australia knew where I could find some details on my rights when confronting a cop in different circumstances. I haven't studied any law.
What I DO know is the following:
*If you get pulled over by a cop you have the right to record the conversation that occurs between the both of you (as long as you let the officer know you are recording the conversation). Apparently this makes many cops VERY nervous as they have to pick their words and actions very carefully.
*If you get pulled over for speeding by a cop car with a radar you reserve the right to photograph the speed readout (which can often be wrong). Unfortunately speed readings taken with a gun style camera are usually correct.
*Address the officer by his first name. This makes them incredibly uncomfortable. I think that officers normally have a name tag on.
*If you don't know their name address them by rank. In Australia I THINK (not sure it may have changed) 1 stripe = Constable, 2 stripes = Senior Constable, 3 Stripes = Seargent (probably not a good idea to call a constable "cunts" for short although I'm sure that's where the name originated).
And if you really want to piss them off without breaking the law (by the way I haven't tried these myself) :
*When you are being followed by a cop car get out your license and place it in your ass crack. If you get pulled over wait till the cop comes and asks for it then pull it out (make it look like it's in your back pocket) and give it to him. Ask him if it smells like marijuana (or just if it smells if you're in possession) before he gives it back.
*When he comes to the window press it down like half an inch and proclaim that it's "broken" and wont go down any further. If he goes to the other window to talk to you then while he's talking to you "fix" the broken window. If he comes back to the driver side proclaim that it got "Stuck" again.
*Pretend you're really drunk when you're not
*If you end up in the patrol car and there is no barrier see if you can get ahold of the CB radio. Announce into it "Hello this is officer [insert officers last name] and I would just like to announce that me and my partner are homosexual. If anyone has a problem with this then please consult us personally".
*If it's a male cop pretend you're gay
*Act really shifty and nervous if you know you can't possible be charged for anything. It wastes their time and makes them think twice if they encounter you again.
*Keep a cd in your car of audio pornography (or a porno DVD if you got a dvd player). Play it while talking to the officer with a shifty smirk on your face.
*Try to spark up a conversation about guns and handcuffs. Tell him you prefer the firepower of an automatic glock 17 compared to any beretta (guns are almost completely illegal in Australia). Tell him you'll swap him some pink fluffy handcuffs for his.
*Pretend to have a seizure. Fake foaming pills would be good. If he calls for medical assistance start laughing.
*continously look behind the officer as if someone is making rude gestures behind his back. After he looks and asks what you're looking at, deny everything.
*Answer his questions with more questions
*When he asks for your license insist that he shows you his aswell. Explain that he should prove that he carries a license around too when he drives to set a good example. If you can get him to do it, tell him you just did that so you could find out where he lives.
*keep your window washers faced towards where a cop would stand if he pulled you over. Fill them with urine.
*Chain smoke the whole time he's talking to you (no, not weed).
*Offer him a beer
*Ask him not to look in the glove compartment (unless there really is something incriminating in there). When he look just say "Well I told you not to didn't I? OR keep a note in there saying 'Curiosity Killed The Cop'
Okay I could just keep going on but I gotta go to bed. I just made these all up then - see if you can all add some more. Remember you have to play by their rules so you can't break the (Australian) law. Shrooma

Cops are people too, just because a few are assholes doesn't mean they all are. Know your rights and stand your ground, but being a wanker to them is only going to encourage negative behaviour.

yeah, at any point they could call it "interfering with the duties of an officer".
And forget the one about handing them a shitstained driver's licence unless you can handle the felony assault charges. Only the most harmless ones of those, like offering them a beer, would fly.
They'd all be funny, but not all too wise.

warm_gun awesome film clip. Although what is the cop doing at the end I can't see properly. It appears he's just standing there.

Please state what ones specifically and under what Australian law specifically. I'm not saying you're wrong I'm just curious if you're sure you know which ones.

I know mate, my grandfather was a motorcycle cop and he's awesome. My cousin just joined the force too and I love her too she a good christian. But remember for those bad cops the more they get away with stuff, the more they think they can if you get me.
Sorry About the multiple posts everyone. I'm very tired at the moment. And lets not make this a flame fest thread. Think creatively not criticisingly Peace All Shrooma
EDIT: Just keep in mind people the first 4 points in my original post were serious the rest were just for fun basically. I'm not encouraging anyone to do the rest (although I refuse to advise against it aswell). This is purely my stance, nothing less nothing motr
EDIT 2:Just one more thing for those who watched the video clip that warm gun linked on page 1 - watch the supporter (or player???lol) in the blue striped shirt that defends the protester. As he falls over a cop grabs him but in a split second he has the cop in a lock - the power of adrenaline! Also notice the cop that was hitting the guy is also the fastest to run away - that bastard is responsible for his fellow officer who is laying on the ground all beaten up. Should've been him.

"On 23-04-06 22:41 skettusa wrote: "A police officer from McKinney, Texas, was attacked and beaten by an escaped convict from Colorado while responding to a routine call Monday. When Corporal Russell May arrived on the scene of a reported assault in progress, he approached a vehicle matching the description of a suspect?s car. As he asked the people inside the car to get out, a man, Joshua Jones, jumped out and began attacking May. "When he hit me I figured he was going to take off and run," May said. "That's what a lot of them do."
Jones assaulted May for several minutes until a citizen stepped in to help as witnesses called 911. May escaped with only minor injuries and Jones was jailed for aggravated assault on a police officer.
