I introduced 3 to the world of psychedelics

I'll never forget my first time tripping, and how I look at the person who gave me the experience. I hold them with such high regard.

With that said, Last weekend I was able to give 3 people their first experience with mushrooms. One of which ate an eighth, the other 2 split an eighth (that's all I had left) - needless to say, all 3 loved it because I provided an awesome setting/atmosphere. They all want to try again. And the 2 who tried half, want to eat a full eighth now.

It makes me really happy to know I've given that experience to 3 new people. I tried to show them a bunch of things, while still exploring on their own. All the things I wish I'd done my first time, I tried to provide for them.

Can anyone relate?

Also introduced 2 new people to Salvia. 1 of which likes it, the other was not a fan... hey, it's not for everyone.

it was just too much for her (only had 1/16th too), she just wanted it to be over.

oh god I can't even count the number of people I've given psychedelics for their first time.

I'd say upwards of 8 people. I'm about to add 4 more onto that this weekend as well :cool:

I always know the people I am giving it to. I never give it to random people, and I have refused it to people I think would take the introspective part badly.

If you're tripping with me... and by me I mean an experienced tripper, nobody is going to the loony bin. They might not have a good time, but not to the loony bin.

The big thing is knowing how to get people out of a loop, or how to make bad experiences turn into good ones. I find the biggest influence in a trip is music. With the snap of your fingers you can make someones experience amazing, or terrible. Just by changing the song.


Let's just say someone did end up in a loony bin. Yes, I would feel bad. Maybe they weren't mentally prepared. I don't know if that would be my fault, or theirs though. But in reality, how many first-time trippers end up in a loony bin? Unless they have a history of mental disorders, 5 hours later they will be coming down.

Everyone I've ever introduced to psychedelics has fallen in love.
It's amazing too because most of the people I've given the opportunity to trip were all about the ecstasy (as I was at one point in time as well).
I let them have their first trip, and they changed their minds about that real fast.

yep. my fiancee and i used to love mdma back in the day, and since i introduced her to mushrooms the other day, she told me she loves them alot more than x.

I've been with people for their first time on psychedelics and naturally they love it.

I actually have three good friends right now that all are interested in trying mushrooms for their first with me. I am honored.

Wondering if I should set it up so all 3 of them can do it for first time together or split it up in different experiences.

Have them do it all together so they can all have that bond with one another. Nothing brings a group of friends together like a good mushroom trip. If you do this, have a couple things planned, or at least an idea of what you guys can do. I like doing things I wish I had done my first trip. Going to the beach is always nice (if you live close to it. my friend lives 3 blocks from it so it's easy to get there). Have an idea of what kinda music to listen to... chill happy music. You know...

I've given 8 people their first psychadelic experience. They all pretty much loved it to some extent, but a few of them had their little mindfucks to deal with :shrug:

Who doesn't have that? I think in someway EVERY person who has taken psychedelics has experienced that, in some way or form. They just happened to get it their first time.

I got it my first time, but I'm glad it didn't scare me away. I got the fear and caught in a loop for about 45 min-an hour - when I finally got out of it I bought another eighth lol. Needless to say that was a 12 hour mushroom trip.

You are right. Very good points.

Assuming I could get all 3 of them together at the same time and place that is my ideal situation. I like how you pointed out that mushrooms brings people closer together. It truly does.

They're all really cool people too. I'm sure it's going to be nothing but great for them. It's just so cool to me that there are people out there willing to take a dive into the deep end for their first time with me. An honor indeed.

That beach idea is clutch - the beach is not far from here we could set that up easily. I'd prepare awesome music naturally and just let it ride. I'll bring the Newports.

Last time I ate shroomies, I chilled at the beach before they kicked in. I started to get nauseous just sitting there and we ended up leaving. I suggest start tripping first, THEN go to the beach from my experience.

There's nothing like sand falling between your fingers. Just sticking your hand under teh sand and raising them, allowing the sand to fall off the sides of your hand. Looking out on the horizon, knowing the next land mass you hit is THOUSANDS of miles away... and it's not even your country. Kinda scary going in the water though... because it's so endless, seems to stretch to infinity.

Awesome times though. Cigarettes are amazing on a trip... like fucking candy, I suck em down to the filter they are so good. I always wish I had like a 12 inch cigarette to just puff on for a good 15-20 minutes.

I need to trip again soon... It's been like... 2 weeks since my last trip, but.... gah I wanna trip. My next trip is shroomies and L - so excited. 2 grams 2 hits...

gah i just wanna leave work right now and go eat it all.
