How many runs though a PC before the pollyfill lids needs a pollyfill change?

Name says it all. How many runs though a PC before the pollyfill lids needs a pollyfill change?

Is there any kind of other gadget I can use other than pollyfill that I can inoculate right through? Ive seen filtration disks for canning jars but Im not sure how they work. The reason I ask is because its annoying to change the pollyfill on 147 jars.

Tyvek? Injection ports? Silicone RTV?

use filter disks.  otherwise i would change the poly every time after the jars were done colonizing.  dont use polyfill over again.

I've always used polyfil once and replaced. Or you could use something like this, a synthetic filter disc and rubber injection port
