using glad/hefty disposable jars with polyfil for grain/wbs?

My problem with using anything beyond 1/2 pint is my pc is small, just a 5 quart pc...

I was thinking while grocery shopping this week, maybe just getting a single quart size disposable plastic container, I know folks have used them for Regular pftek cake methods in a PC, its been done before.

could I maybe use a smaller - squat quart size container?
perhaps with the lid - a hole punched filled with polyfill to PC grain or WBS? has anyone tried this before? the only thing that would worry me is delicately taking the PC's container out, maybe taping the lid more secure - so when I shook it to distrubte the grain, the lid wouldnt fly off...

any opinions? thanks!

why not get a big jar at the supermarket - like one of those that olives or gherkins come in:

puch a screwdriver through the lid, stuff in polyfill (or use a filter), load with soaked grain, and pc. if you take the pc with you to the supermarket, maybe you'll find a nice big jar that will go three into your pc.
