I've used Spawn Mate and Pro -Mycel Gold both with excellent results. Overall size of mushrooms is increased often causing stems to split from the weight (also mushrooms lie along the casing instead of growing upright) The number of pins has been seen to increase with the use of Pro-Mycel Gold, but about 30% abort IME.

Overall its definately good stuff......I haven't seen any increases in spawn runs though (actually they are slower)

whenever there's a higher nutrient content, mycelium will take longer to colonize.
