The poly-fill in one of those pics seem to indicate that a double/mono tub was employed. I would guess that this individual allowed the bags to colonize, crumbled the bags into tubs, and allowed them to fruit uncased.

Those are some big guns for sure. :thumbup: Pretty typical of SA too.

I'll give you some info. Sporeworks is currently out of the bags. If you don't have LC don't waiste your time. They take atleast a month to colonize with MS. I bought several 5lb pags. 1 contamed before inoculation. 1 contamed 2 days after. The other one showed signs of growth like 3 weeks after inoculation, and a month later it still isn't fully colonized. Biggest waiste of time and money I have ever seen.

When my first bag came contamed, I emailed them. They said I would be taken care of. They sent me a 3lb bag of wild birdseed and a syringe of Treasure Coast. Well, I knocked up the bag and here I am 3 weeks later with no growth. I just threw it in the trash today, along with the syringe.

Never had any contam issues except for those bags, and that vendor.

I have never used these bags but in my experience with bags I have made myself they take FOREVER anyway,.They are fine for a "Set and forget" if you have some mushrooms stockpiled or are just really patient,I wouldn't recommend them for someone who is one of those ppl who likes to check their grow every day,throw them in the closet and forget about them for a while,they will produce and you may be pleasantly surprised when you come back(Next yr:lol:) Ugly mushrooms for sure but mushrooms nonetheless :rockon:
