Anyone here perfectly content with their drug intake ?

I used to rush around looking for shrooms and acid, always on a constant search, sure I would eventually find what i was looking for, but i just felt as tho i was pressing the issue.

Lately though i've realized that I dont really need/want to be tripping that often. Tripping/Rolling once a month is almost more than enough if you think about it.

I also don't need to be constantly smoking myself into oblivion, a clear head is imparative to contentment. If you are stuck in this constant haze of want/need you can hardly come to the conclusion that you DONT need these things in your life for sure, and most often than not you don't truely want them, you are just filling a void.

I mean i come in contact with either acid or mushrooms atleast once a month, if not. No biggie, im fine with that. Shit I never thought I previously would but I actually turned down mushrooms this week. I guess that means i've matured. A year ago I would have jumped on any opportunity for mushrooms/acid without even thinking about it...

I'm usually pretty cool either way. I haven't touched a single drug in 5 days now. Being that it's summer, that's pretty unusual for me.

If they are around, I'll do them. If they're not, I'm not going to die.

I really want some mushrooms though, I haven't had some in a long time.

I am not content with my use in that it is nonexistent.

Edit: thats what I gathered from it anyway...

BUT to the OP, I have found I have slowed down a great deal. Next time I am tripping I'm pretty sure it will be at an amusement park in about a month. I haven't done it for a while now. My smoking has slowed down for the past year as well. I do it very rarely now.

Right now I am not content with my drug intake because I am not using any drugs :sad:

I rather be a full blown opiate addict than sober. Fuck sobriety and anyone who praises it.

I am 100% content at the moment. Ive never gotten into anything other than psychedelics and never plan to.

If anything, i wish i could get more stuff that i cant right now due to housing situation. And since my drug use is at a steady decline i feel like time is running out.

I think I smoke too much weed. I will be a cannabis connoisseur for life. But I would imagine that during the parental years I will have to cut back to weekend late night toking. But that's no biggie. Mix that with the occasional psychedelic and it's a good life.

I think a lot of people bottom out. Doing the same thing all the time gets boring. Learning new things and doing new stuff is cool. That is not to say that some old things are great.

Personally, I get into stuff then get out. Then sometimes get back into it. Life is fun that way. I would recommend diversifying your life; it is a good time.

Thats not exactly maturity, thats more like being burnt out. But props on being worried about growing up, it'll be a major turning point in your life.

I concur.  I don't smoke nearly as much weed as I'd like to.  I have a very impulsive personality so when I dabble in new things I tend to binge, then cut myself off when I run out.  It seems to be working, because I'm in the best shape of my life and I'm not currently addicted to any substance, even nicotine.  I'm not saying it's the drugs that got me in shape, I'm saying my usage doesn't interfere with my work and workout habits, and that's how I feel it should be; recreation, not a lifestyle.
