I was just wondering...I use an aquarium bubbler in my terrarium and set the timer to bubble the water every other hour, but how often do you guys do this?
Also, I've neglected to fan my terrarium for days at a time, and things have turned out OK...how often do you fellow bubblers fan?
Peace, Blip

Twice a day.
I left for a weekend once and they were fine with just the air bubbler going.

I found that when I eft my bubbler on 24/7 initially everything went well and they grew well. And then suddenly things went wrong and the mushrooms started growing a bit deformed. I had vents for c02 but by my reasoning the more the pump was on the more o2 was being converted. Other situations might have played a role but hey I couldn`t figure it out. Although now that I think about it the casing did secumb to the green. hmmmm

nice but if you want more room in there use a soda bottle and drill 2 holes in the cap. one hole for input one for output. then fill the bottle with water, put bubbles stone in and hook it to the bubbler, and hook up output tube to your chamber
i'm baked but i'm sure you understrand

i dont fan at all! every once in a while i open the terrarium up to look at it (once a week) but you really dont have to fan when the air bump makes air exchange for you -craig

I run my bubbler 24/7 and still fan twice per day, to ensure the removal of dead air pockets. The aquarium air pump that feeds air to the bubbler produces about 0.9 litres of air per minute. The bubbler is used to supply fresh humid air to a clear, 45 litre, rubbermaid style tub with clear lid (from wilkinsons (UK)) Its just over one fresh air exchange per hour, which isnt perfect, but it works well.
