Fish Tank bubblers

I'm using a fish tank bubbler and hand spraying 3x a day, and am wondering how effective the bubbler is on it's own. I'm going to be out of town for 2-3 days at a time throughout the entire summer, and am wondering if the bubbler will hold it's own during this time. My terranium holds 6 cakes.
I would rather not opt for a humidifier at this time.

Bubblers provide some form of humidity but not ample for cakes to fruit abundantly. Use a layer of damp perlite, a couple inches, on the bottom. If the bubbler is a stick inside a jar of water... poke a hole or two on the terrarium a couple inches above the perlite to diffuse the CO2 buildup that you will encounter when you are away. If the bubblers are usually placed on the bottom of the perlite, poke holes on the top of the terrarium. Remember to stuff the holes with poyfill or fover up with a filter to keep the terrarium contam free.

in my opinion bubblers are o.k. for humidity but as far as air exchange i think it's questionable, especially for 3 days. if you hve no other choice, definitely cut some air holes in the top covered w/ some kind of filter ( my freind uses 4 or 5 quatrter sized holes for an 18 gal. rubber maid ) hope this helps.

Thanks for the responses. I suppose there is a limit to the size of the terranium you could build using a fish tank bubbler, right? Any idea on what that size might be? I'm using a 15 gallon terranium right now, and am looking at getting a 30 gallon. I would run two terraniums off of one bubbler.
I have a feeling that I might be pushing my luck. I don't have the $40 dollars for a humidifier at this point, and in the future if I do opt for one, I might find growing massive amounts of shrooms to be "too" easy.
My problem is that I made way too many cakes. I originally had planned for perhaps 1/4 of my cases to be contaminated, but I'm experiencing a 100% success rate right now (knock on wood of course).

The two relevant variables here are 1) the size of the fruiting chamber and 2) the power of your air pump. In order for the poor mans pod to be effective, you need at least 2-3 air exchanges per hour (although 'entrainment' is what is really occuring). SO, you must find out the volume of your fruiting chamber (base x height x width) and the amount of air your pump can dispense per hour. If your air is not exchanged at least twice an hour, either get a smaller chamber or a more powerful pump. And good luck pushing two chambers w/ one pump

Thanks again. Chinese, it appears that my pump doesn't have the capacity to exchange air between both terraniums. Luckily, I've just been fanning them 3x a day when I water them. I originally was going to just fan/water them, but I had a fish tank bubbler laying around. I built my second terranium today and now have doubled my cake capacity. We'll see how it works.
DSD, I thought about cutting a hole near the bottom to allow for air exchange. If I have any problems with my setup, I'll do this. I'm not really going on vacation, but will be travelling for work nearly every week and would like to keep my mushrooms in good health.
