I'm attracted to this state.  It's always been one of those states that seems really edgy and progressive. 

My parents once told me, "Never move to California.  The people there are WEIRD." 

Sounds like I might blend in.  :crazy2:

Eh, it's not as crazy as it's made out to be. There just as many freaks here as there are in Miami or Nor Orleans.
Just a state like any other, where everything is really expensive.

I've also made it a random goal of mine to move there some day.  It has such an allure to it.  Maybe one day when I make it big in the comedy biz :tongue2:      :sigh:  I want to at least visit if I cant live there.

Yeah. It's the allure...I feel it sucking me in.

I was tripping on mushrooms a few months ago, and all of a sudden it hit me: MOVE TO CALIFORNIA.

The compulsion was too pervading to just ignore.

I can't move right now; but maybe in a year or two.

It really depends on what you are looking for in California, and where you look.  Northern California and Southern California are very different places.  San Francisco is nothing like Los Angeles.  Berkeley is nothing like UCLA. 

Even more locally, Malibu and Venice Beach are two entirely different experiences (personally, I much prefer Venice!)

There are beach communities, desert communities, mountain communities - and all are very different.  Idyllwild is nothing at all like Joshua Tree, neither one is like Pismo Beach.  And Truckee?  A world of it's own.  Even though ALL of these are small towns of about the same size.

Then, of course, there are the city lights, and that's a whole 'nother story!

So if you're going to California, know what you are looking for and you'll find it for sure.  You just gotta look in the right places :smile:

However, you will never find mushroom spores in CA!

You just gotta know what you're looking for, and you will probably find it here. It is a magical place. You'd do well in the Bay Area. Socal wouldn't be your scene I think.

And tell your mom that the wierd people are those who don't move to CA. Afterall, why would so many people move here if there was nothing to attract them here? :shrug:

Personally, there's no other place in the world I'd rather live than where I do (Los Angeles). But that will change if this country keeps spinning closer to the bottom of the toilet bowl.

Right now on the bay, about 45 mins from San Francisco but I can see the place from here. Used to live in the OC so I'm familiar with that area too.

And my mom is really naive and rather closed minded at times; that's why she said that.

well you can't have spores delivered from a spore vendor like in other states. that def is illegal.

i had to have them shipped to a friend's address out of state and then brought them back with me.

but that's not to say there's no shroom spores :wink:
