BRF cakes colonizing horse shnizzit (pics)
    #829694 -

On Saturday, 4 brf b+ cakes were crumbled into these two trays of horse poo, and placed into an incubator at 86 degrees. Here?s how they?re doing on Tuesday:

The cakes in the tray on the left were dunked, the cakes in the tray on the right were not.

That's pretty good for only three days. It may be just me, but that poo looks kind of dry. Oh well though, good luck anyways.

My friend pasturized the poo for 1 hour and then squeezed the hell out of it. I mean sqeezed the hell out of it like it was his stingy old grandpa hanging onto his last dime. Most of the info I've read says that the main problem with poo is it being too wet.

I almost did this but was afraid I had to much excess shit (hay?/grass?/grain?) in my horse shit- did you have anything besides actuall horse turds that had gotten mixed in or was it just straight horse poo no if ands or buts (hmhmhm)
An observation btw--- you say the cakes on the left were dunked and the right one wasnt, the left cakes look a whole lot brighter than the right one- thats what my scotts and brf cakes look like right now, very white and very fluffy
makes me wish i was a little shroom fairy so i could frolic amongst the mycellim cloud patches and live in shroom houses
to me mushrooms make everything so fairy-tale-istic
cambo!

Hay in the horse schnizzit:

That's one of the great things about horse poo. Horses don't digest their food all that well, so it's full of nutritious stuff like partially digested hay. Don't be afraid ... use the poo! Just make sure that it's really dry before you pasturize it.

As far as the dunked vs. the non dunked ... My friend added a few globs of peroxide to the dunk water so that might account for the extra whiteness of it, but it does look a little fluffier too, doesn't it? Well, that's why he tried one of each, so he could see the difference.

Ready to be birthed? I dunno ... it's only been 3 days. My friend has also been debating on whether to give them a flush without casing or to case with 50/50 verm/coir. Anybody have any thoughts?

Case dude believe me your flush will so much greater!

The shroomys on my avatar were spawned on horse poo then cased with 50/50 oyster - And those were the big 4 all 4 equally 3-5 dry grams a shroom! And that was just the four out of the 20 medium big sized other shrooms!!!!!!!!
The yield was at least 2 ounzes! And this strain was cambodian LOL

So believe me case youll be happy!

Northernsoul that`s not necessarily known as a bulk tek at all.
Bulk means what it is, growing on larger spawned substrates.
So Poo or straw are just alternate spawn substrates.

Ok, thats why I asked:) I've graduated from PF and regular casings......Im looking for more of a challenge and something that brings even higher yield than BRF and/or Grain with 50/50
