I still don't see how this justifies taking 200 young girls from their families, just because of a single anonymous phone call. Sounds more like religious prosecution from Texas police to me than a valid investigation.

That's how it worked for thousands of years and still does in many parts of the world, and it is a part of their religious beleifs, so I have to say ya. Not that I agree with it myself.

I saw videos of the locals saying stuff along the lines of "those damn mormons...etc" which leads me to beleive that they're just harrasing these people to get them to leave the area.

Mohammad Married Sarah when she was 9 years old, it's common place
in the islamic religion for girls to be married around the time
they start menstruating, even within this country it's only within
the last 80 years that they've set 'age of consent' laws, prior to
that 13 years of age was common place to be wed, arent these part
of the same groups of laws you're bitching about that restrict
your freedoms, laws like marijuana prohibition?

do I think it's right under these circumstances, no, I also dont
believe in having seven wives and 30 kids but who am I to judge
what others do.

at least the ATF didnt fabricate a bunch of charges to draw
military support and officials only decided to 'enrage the sense
of public decency'. review the senate subcommittee hearings on the
Waco/Davidian incident, learn the name Lon Horiuchi and see how
