water filter for spawn disk-filter?
    #807913 - 08/09/02 09:30 PM (16 years, 4 months ago)

i was looking through my workshop and found a box of filter disks for an oldschool britta type water filter. the filters are made of a tyvek like cardboard and are rated to remove heavy metals and pesticides(it doesn't say the actual filtration rating) and might be of value for spawn jar filter-disks. before i try them i thought i's ask to see if anyone has used this kind of filter fefore and with what results. any comment would be graciously recieved.
