Two Pan's on One Pie

Hey folks,

Well after seeing AirDoggies inspirational digital photo?s,
-I took it to the field for the first time this summer.

I collected a phat dose of Copelandian mushrooms,
Took some pictures,
Then got outta there.

It was odd to notice 2 Panaeolus species happily living together on identical patties..i saw about a dozen of them like this.

Photographed below:
An in-active Shroom Panaeolus sphinctrinus, the one tallest mushroom,
The rest of the mushrooms are the very potent psychoactive Shroom, Panaeolus cyanescens.

I shall visit the cosmos of our milky way galaxy tonight.

damn... im doing somn totally wrong. Ive been searchin all summer nad i havent found one active species yet (I dont htink ). You go one day and find copes - must be nice

Im happy that you liked my pics hehe you make me feel proud ehehehe stupid feeling but nice hehhee, Twistedredneck you just gotta know where to look, Its better if you go to fields away from cities and rounded by trees those are usually the best, also the majority of vegetation must be grass, if there are lots of plants probably the mushies will be much harder to find... good luck

and yes the mushies are friends and they are closely related, actually you can eat a lot of pan sphinctrinus along with psilocybian mushrooms and you will be feeling something similar but different.. hehehhe The best ones are the pies that have cubes an copes in them hjehehe

Nice find! Copes are always nice to find. Thanks for
posting pics. I wish more people would take cameras
on their hunts. It is nice to see the fungus in its natural
habitat.
