How much more potent are fresh mushrooms?

Hey gang,

I am looking to have my very first fresh mushroom experience soon and i am wondering how much stronger are they than dry? I dont want to start comparing drying teks, i just want to know if i should take 20 g fresh as the same dose as 3 g dry.

Is the experiece different?

10% so 30grams wet= 3grams dry

yes thats for weight but what about potency? the shroom calculator has dry as 70% of potency. what if they are dryed well? how much active chemical is retained?

not enough to make a big difference... fresh are more potent, but not by much.

I wouldn't over estimate the potency of fresh and underdose. I'd rather assume the
potency as the same and if i get a little more out of it ...all the better Ive also have heard some mushies hold more water(weight) Fresh. So calculations wet are off. I've found dry weights more accurate. And wet weights week...At least for some strains.
