Hellooooo
well, i dunno what is happening in the shroomland which happens to live in my house 4 the last months.
i have 4 casings and 1 cake at the moment. the cake and the 2 soil casings are in bucket and terrarium respectively and none of them had shown any signs of pins yet [still day 5].
BUT -- today i checked the other two casings, which were cased with vermiculite and hadnt shown such strength in colonization of the upper layer, so i had them covered in darkness. today i checked them as i said and VOILA! except of colonization on several spots, there is ONE pin, sized one and a half cm, brown head, very beautiful, i am in love with this EQ shroomie... how on earth did this pin born? completely darkness and no humid enviroment at all... how did it happen?
now, i suppose i am NOT gonna fridge those cases and i already moved them into the terrarium with the others.
do you have any advice to give, anything will be useful!!!!!

I'm not suprised that if you leave them for long enough they will pin a few mushrooms!

the fact my only pin was born outside the terrarium, in the darkness and since all of them are of the same generation and their only difference is the casing substance, do u think that my pinning method is wrong? should i search 4 problems on my terrarium? humidity or temp? because the soil casings showed faster growth and then fridged and moved to terrarium - still no pins. cake also no pins. on the other side, the vermiculte casing didnt show such growth so stayed outside terrarium and pinned!!! aw... i may have to move everything outside the terrarium! ????? kykeon
