if it is indeed an amanita (bloody looks like one) the spore print will be white..

looks a bit like amanita pantherina to me, a. muscaria's more potent cousin.

looks too light a colour to be a. pantherina to me... should be more brown, not yellow, but then again that could well be down to immaturity :shrug:

hmm... you shoul'v kept the volva on the bottom of the stem, its the easiest thing to id muscaria/pantherina/lookalikes by.

is it possible you could get pics of it? its the egg like sack under the stem.

The one on the left is Stropharia ambigua And the other does look like its an amanita. Did someone already cover the Stropharia? If you did sorry I did not see it.

Since the sporeprint should be white, should I do it on foil instead of paper?

That would work. Or put white paper under half of the cap and black under the other half.
