Credit Co and taking the car away

its been almost 15 days late for my car payment and then i dont even know if i can make the payment for november. i know that all Co's are diff but what are the chances of them coming and taking the car? did i mention that i also havnt had insurance on the car for 2 months now? its leased from a dealership and we got our loan from this credit Co. any advice?

Is it a lease or a loan? There is a difference; when you get car on a lease you can buy the car for fair market value. After you are done with loan payments you own the car.
Regardless, stop paying and they will come get it. If you haven't been getting harassing calls then I wouldn't necessarily expect it to disappear one night.

The first step is to place a lien on the vehicle. You should know if there is a lien.
No lien, no repo.

I'd be shocked if they didn't allready have a lien on it, or some other encumbrance. That's pretty standard stuff. Otherwise what would stop you from selling the car the moment you get it, and screwing the company on colateral?

It's worth a shot, but you should have called before you missed the first payment. It's hard for them to defer payment after you've already decided to defer it yourself.
